What is the secret to happy clients?
Most of the time, we’re trying to support them to reach their next level. "I need brand photos so I can launch xx product by xx date", or "I need to level-up my brand photography to reach more clients."
I hear that a lot—discussion about next level, up-level, high-level, new-level, on and on.
Listen, You don’t want to simply meet your client at their next level.
Your job as a service-based entrepreneur is to dig into the dreams of your clients and help them reveal their Big Vision to you. Their ultimate level. The one they’re afraid to say out loud. The one they whisper to their friends at wine and cheese night.
The Big Vision is what you guide them toward by showing them what transformation you can offer to help them reach their legendary status.
How do you do this?
Start by asking them! Skip over small talk of their next offer, workshop, or website launch and find out how they see their brand evolving? What is their role in that growth? What does that look like on one year, five years?
Then ask them to dream even bigger with you. Paint the picture for them, fill in the blanks, share the greatness you see in them. Most of us have a hard time seeing the greatness we are capable of. Often it takes someone else pushing us out of our comfort zone to truly understand our own magnificence. Be the person who shows them and your clients will leave with more than brand photos. They will leave with the tools to create their Big Vision.
