I started this newsletter because I naturally curate and collect — and when the pandemic happened a newsletter seemed to be a great way to talk about the things I’m into while stuck inside. Turns out other people liked it too!
Each week will be a little different but will always focus on some things to read, listen to, look at, and do — a collection of mood boards, playlists, inspiration, motivation, art history, and everything photography related, of course!

Spotlight.
Photography is the creative piece of your brand, but it also leads your marketing and sales. It really is the beginning of building a brand.
When I first met Julia Carlson, she shared her desire for more personal creativity as well as a business and personal brand that reflected everything she was unable to bring to life in her established corporate brand. We decided the photos needed to tell the new story of Julia. One focused less on money and more on health, joy, and love. Click to see the entire shoot.
Develop.
Each of our Editorial Sessions begin with a mood board. We work with editorial clients, like Julia to develop a visual brand concept weeks before we step into the virtual studio together. These images are then used to spotlight your exciting new offer, website and sales page. We are sharing the exact mood board template we use here in the studio. Tag us on Pinterest with your mood boards - We LOVE seeing them!
Focus.
